I am Michael Hanley, a Learning and Development Consultant with over a decade's experience in enabling business and education use learning technologies, and to successfully implement training solutions to enhance worker and organizational performance.
Consultancy
- I enable business organizations and educational institutions design, develop, implement and manage their learning initiatives. I have 12 years professional experience in learning and development. As a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD) I also understand 'traditional' approaches to workplace training. I work with my clients to assess their training and development needs, before implementing a content development to provide the best training solution.

Writing and Speaking
I present at e-learning conferences and events in Ireland and internationally, and across the world on the Web through events like the eLearning Guild Online Forums.
I write articles for national and international e-learning, HRM and knowledge management publications, and contribute to academic journals.
Occasional Lecturer
I lecture on Approaches to E-Learning Content Development for the National College of Ireland's MSc in Technology in Education.
