About Michael Hanley
Michael Hanley is a learning and development professional and author of the E-Learning Curve Blog. He’s a committed advocate of digital learning as a way to unlock peoples’ natural abilities and to enable the achievement of potential.
In a career spanning nearly 20 years, Michael has led the corporate training function in a number of companies, including startups, medium-sized, and multinational organisations. Now he directs the development of certified learning programmes for the Innovation Value Institute in Maynooth University.
In this role, Michael has focused on researching, designing, and developing innovative and effective workplace learning solutions for professional performance enhancement and organisational capability improvement for companies in all sectors.
Michael is a speaker at international conferences, and is a visiting scholar at Tokyo Tech. He’s written many articles on learning and education for a range of publications, and writes regularly here on the E-Learning Curve Blog.
